Hello my babes! It’s fall ya’ll, and I am here for it. Call me basic but bring on all the PSL’s and fall vibes! It’s also the start of wedding season here in Florida, and the BB team is ready to go glam! This week on the blog I am talking about all the waves, when it comes to hair! There are many common misconceptions and misunderstandings about these hairstyles, but I am here to set the record straight!
First, let’s talk about beach waves. This is a loose, textured wave pattern. It is simple, relaxed and natural looking. Usually the ends are straight, and the curl pattern can vary from small to large. These are often showcased with a boho hairstyle and includes some sort of braids or twists. Check out some examples of this style below!
Next let’s chat about Hollywood waves! These are large barrel curls which are curled in the same direction and then brushed out to appear soft and voluminous in a wave like pattern. However, these are going to be more movable than the glam waves, and will not contain as much structure. For a babe that wants to be able to flip her hair around on the dance floor but have a glam style, this one is for you!
Next, let’s chat about the ever so popular glam waves. This style is also curled in one direction these teased and shaped into a highly structured wave pattern. This style is not movable once it is in place. This one is for the bridal babes who want an ultra glam look, and don’t want to fuss over their hair during the day! Please understand that you will need extensions to create this style as well as lots of TIME! This style usually takes about 1.5-2 hours and is more costly than other hairstyles.
