The sun is shining, greenery is lush and flowers are blooming; and the weather is nice and warm! Summertime weddings are great in most areas of the country, however if you are getting married in Florida, you know it’s a whole different vibe. Bring on the blanketing humidity and  90-100 something degree temperatures. Whew, I am sweating just writing this! I see you Forida brides, and today, I am sharing some simple tips to help you create a beautiful wedding day look that will last through the summer weather! 

1. Opt for Airbrush Makeup: Airbrush makeup has become all the rage with brides. Personally, I prefer to perform traditional makeup applications, however if you are oily or a sweaty faced babe, like myself, I would recommend switching to Airbrush makeup. Airbrush makeup is known for being waterproof and transfer resistant and I can definitely vouch for this! Of course this application is not for everyone. If you have mature or very dry skin, I would opt for a hydrating water based foundation as opposed to the airbrush option. The airbrushed makeup can appear dull on dry skin. 
2. Choose a more natural makeup application: Listen, babes. I know you want to be glammed on your day. But if you plan on being outdoors for any part of your wedding, opt for a natural glam as opposed to full glam. You can still add a WOW factor by playing up the eyes or a pop on the lips! However, it is my professional suggestion to go with less cake-up on the face in order to help prevent creasing or any movement in the makeup. 

3. Opt for an Updo: If you are a gal, whose hair does not hold a curl no matter how much product is applied, then this tip is for you! As professionals, we do have some tricks to help this type of hair hold a curl longer, however with the humidity playing a major factor, those curls are just going to drop down the second you walk outside. So, if you’re a summer bride, and you plan on being outdoors, save yourself the worry and put that hair up! We can help you find the right style that meets your vibe and requested look! 
4. Get a blow out the day before your wedding: I can’t suggest this tip more! If you’re wearing your hair up or down, you should do this no matter what. If you have fine hair, it is going to help add volume, which will help us create a gorgeous, voluminous style! If you have textured or frizzy hair, this will help to straighten and smooth the hair, in order to prevent frizz on the wedding day! We want you looking smooth, sleek, and sexy babe!
