Hello my beautiful babes! I hope you’ve had an amazing week thus far and that your lashes are sky high and perfect! This week I am sharing a real life wedding with you, and it’s one for the books! So without further ado, let’s get into it!

On wedding mornings I generally wake up 3 hours before I have to arrive onsite. I am not a “roll out of bed and go” girly, no ma’am! I have got things to do, invoices to send and artists to pay. Plus I have to get myself ready and account for travel time(which is generally 30 mins to an hour). This wedding morning was no different, as I awoke at 5am and was ready to leave the house by 7am! 

I arrived at the Ritz Carlton by 7:45am, which allowed me to valet my car, unload my kit, and wait in the lobby for my assistant, Luz, who helped me style 8 of the 10 scheduled hair services I had scheduled that day! (We added an additional hairstyle on the fly)!

We arrived at the get ready room by 8am and set up my hair kit. Generally this takes about 10-20 minutes depending on how many kits(hair, makeup or both) are being set up, and how much furniture we need to rearrange to make the space work for me and my team! Sometimes we become full-on interior designers, ya’ll, rearranging all the furniture just to squeeze into a hotel room with you and 10 of your besties! 😆 Luckily we had more than enough space to set up our kits here, so we were done within 10 minutes and started hair right at 8:10am! Liani, a BB MUA, arrived that day at 9am to perform 6 makeup applications, as well! She can make anyone feel naturally beautiful! 

While I styled the first bridesmaid’s hair, Luz began curling another bridesmaid’s hair. She continued to prep each girl with product and curl everyone’s hair exactly as needed to fit their inspo photos, and I styled the final look! We worked this way through 9 other hairstyles!  Luz was super fast and efficient at curling everyone’s hair, and got done at 12:45pm, so she got to head out for the day! I stayed behind to  finalize the remaining hairstyles on the bridal party; execute the bride’s hairstyle, and perform touch ups!

When it was Kallan’s turn for hair, she showed me her inspo photo, and I said “I got you!” She requested a modern french twist hairstyle. I was so excited to create this for her. I am obsessed with these styles. BRIDES, MORE OF THESE PLEASE!

The overall look came together and she was such a STUNNING GORGEOUS bride! After finishing her hair, I began touch ups and packed up my kit, right on time at 2:15pm! 

I headed down to the valet and picked up my car to drive home and arrived by 3:30pm, just in time to sanitize and clean my hair kit. So yea babe, that’s a wedding day in a tiny little nutshell! Beauty Brigade performed a total of 17 services: 11 hair services and 6 makeup services in 6 short hours(But really 11 hours of work if you count drive time, admin, and sanitation)!🤪
