What Is a Lash Lift?
A lash lift is a perm for your eyelashes. Yep, that’s right, just like the 80’s style perm you used to achieve a curly head of hair! (Well, not JUST like it, but similar). Think of how your lashes look when you curl them and add mascara…THAT is how they will look after your lift. Lash lifts are performed by a professional, who takes the time to glue the client’s lashes to a silicone mold or perm rod, and then applies a 3 step solution process to the lashes. The entire process takes about an hour to an hour and a half, depending on processing time, which varies per client. It’s a simple, quick, and painless process that leaves you with gorgeous curled lashes for up to 6-8 weeks!
Lash Lift FAQ’s
I have sensitive eyes, should I get a lash lift?
You can absolutely still get a lash lift, your lash lift technician can perform a patch test, to see if there are any adverse reactions to the chemicals prior to placing the product near your eyes.
How can I ensure my lashes stay lifted for the entire 6-8 weeks?
To ensure duration of your lift, follow proper pre and post service instructions given by your technician. Arrive to your appointment completely free of makeup. After your lift, do not use water, washes, makeup wipes, makeup removers, or mascara for 24-48 hours.
Can I wear makeup and mascara after the initial 24-48 hour waiting period?
Absolutely! However, to ensure the life of your lift, we recommend you do not use waterproof or oil based mascara during the entire life of your lift. Waterproof mascara can be severely drying to your lashes, while mascara with oils can cause a drop in the lift.
